Store Managers are responsible for all aspects of storeperformance including customer service, sales, labor, merchandising, andproduct quality. Store Managers must hire, train, and mentor theiremployees and supervisors to accomplish the culture of teamwork andcomplete the responsibilities of an effective Sloan's business. TheStore Manager reports directly to the General Manager.Job Responsibilities:- Understanding and improving Key Performance Indicators relating tosales and expenses- Training, and coaching staff members to produce exceptional custumerservice and meet sales expectations- Recruiting, hiring, promoting, and terminating staff members asrequired based on conduct and performance- Performing work alongside staff including producing, serving,scooping, and cashiering as may become necessary- Performing staff evaluations and building a culture of continuallearning for employees.- Ordering and rotating products and supplies to keep the store stockedand prevent disruption of service- Taking inventory and identifying areas of waste or loss.- Creating a weekly schedule and acting diligently to accommodate changerequests or sick days- Overseeing all store/equipment cleaning, repairs, and maintenance- Ensuring proper organization and display of store merchandise tomaximize sales- Ensuring compliance with California labor requirements pertaining tomandatory breaks and hour limitations.- Using creativity in servicing customer party and catering requests- Preventing theft through vigilance of the sales floor area- Becoming proficient in all tasks of the business as needed to performand train any duty in the store- Handling of cash, employee tips, and bank deposits- Communicating with General Manager about store performance, goals,requests, and any difficulties, problems, or concerns- Attending monthly managerial meetings via webinarJob Requirements- Must have 3 years of restaurant and/or retail management experience- Strong business acumen and understanding of store operations- Exceptional customer service and sales skills- Strong communication skills- Basic proficiency with technology including Microsoft Word and Excel- High school graduate, college degree is a significant plus- Motivated to accomplish sales, labor, customer service, and storeappearance goals and standards- Critical thinking skills to multi-task in a fast paced environment- Passionate about training and building a strong environment ofteamwork and responsibility- Ability to work varied hours/days as required by the businessincluding nights, weekends, holidays.- This job may require you to lift objects up to 50 poundsBenefits- Competitive salary based on experience- Opportunities for career growth- Health insurance- Discounted Sloan's productsAnticipated hours per week: 50-55This position description intends to describe the general nature andlevel of work being performed by people assigned to this job. Sloan poured his heart and soul into the all the food at the store and teamed up with his mother, Carol, to develop an over-the-top aesthetic reminiscent of the Wonderland that everyone wished existed. Vibrant pink and greens, cupids all over the ceilings, ice cream cones and sundaes covering the walls, enticing smells of freshly baked waffle cones and cookies, candies, toys and a see through bathroom, Sloan'A$ 'A' (TM) s created an experience that was quick to garner public admiration. Since 1999, Sloan's went on to develop 3 more corporate locations in Palm Beach county Florida and has garnered impressive notoriety from Florida locals, Palm Beach celebrities, tourists, local and international press, and highly touted reviewers. In 2012, Sloan'A$ 'A' (TM) s decided to expand the experience by offering franchises to people across the world who shared the passion for food and fun responsible for helping Sloan'A$ 'A' (TM) s succeed. As of 2016, Sloan'A$ 'A' (TM) s has 10 locations across Florida ,California and Kuwait and another 4 stores expected in the next 12 months.
