Designer/Brand Manager
Marine Connection : West Palm Beach, FL
Looking for a designer who prides him or herself on minimal errors and is meticulously detail:orientated. Commitment to high:quality standards in an entrepreneurial environment requires a candidate who is passionate about design and marketing and can hit the ground running. Seeking an out:of:the:box thinker with a keen eye for creativity and the ability to accept constructive criticism and feedback.
The candidate must be knowledgeable about marketing and graphic design principles, techniques, and best practices, as well as proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software (on Mac platform). Must be able to present a portfolio of high:quality design work and provide examples of social media successes. The best candidate will be a highly active user on at least one social media platform with the understanding necessary to grow reach and engagement across multiple platforms.
Design projects at Marine Connection span a wide variety of media, including digital and print media, marketing and advertising materials, local event and social media, CRM/email marketing and website content to effectively communicate the brand and mission. You will design and create various types of deliverables, collaborating directly with the Managing Partners on all projects.
The designer will be responsible for the planning and implementation of key product, branding, promotional and local event support, and will be a key component in ensuring that our brand(s) are well represented through multichannel promotion and advertising effectiveness.
Manage local social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and other media channels.
Design and create marketing pieces for digital, print, and social media
Creating a strategic approach to build and evolve the Marine Connection brand
Develop marketing strategy initiatives focused on raising awareness and driving new clients to our dealerships.
Create, foster, and nurture local business relationships.
Collaborate with managing partners, colleagues, and local businesses for branding initiatives.
Take ownership of creative projects and see them through from beginning to end.
Prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks to meet pre:determined deadlines and overall company objectives and deliverables.
Manage requests for creative work and existing assets. Track projects and ability to report on workflow.
Develop, manage and promote the use of brand style guides (uniform colors, fonts, icons, page format, document organization, etc.) so all communications and web sites present a uniform look and message.
Maintain and implement digital marketing projects and assets including: website and blog content, CRM/email marketing campaigns, and social media.
Manage the details of a boat show and other event marketing schedules and collaborate with the sales and managing teams to provide sales support materials.
Previous marketing and design experience
A vision for creating promotions and incentives
Able to receive constructive criticism and work under pressure
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to develop creative designs for graphic, print, and social media
Understanding of marketing principles, copywriting, motion graphics, and photography
Must be a self:motivated problem:solver with strong organizational and planning skills
Strong visual design sensibilities related to typography, layout and responsive design patterns
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in non:traditional office environment with high attention to detail
Understanding of product branding, social media, copywriting, photography, and web design and marketing principles
