User Experience Architect Job Type: Full-Time Hi there UX ninja, we are looking for a solid UX Architect with a BachelorA cents € (TM) s Degree in Design, Computer Technology/Science, with related 4-6 years experience in design and development. Responsibilities A deep understanding of User First Design principles, as well as the general UX discipline and methodologies. The ability to communicate the above effectively and persuasively. Proven experience creating interactive prototypes, low and high fidelity wireframes, user stories, and workflow diagrams for digital experiences. 5+ years experience in user interface design, information architecture, interaction design, human factors, or other related UX disciplines. 5+ years experience creating architecture, interaction, and/or design for responsive sites, mobile and tablet experiences, and applications. A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (eg: wireframes, user flows, site maps, research, etc.) Skills Keen understanding of usability principles, web standards, UI patterns and their application. The ability to advocate for the user and explain informed design decisions while managing client expectations. Must Haves Proficiency with Axure is a must. Experience with Financial/Auditing projects is a big plus. Ability to work on agile projects will bring you to the top of the list. Screening Exercise: Potential candidate needs to provide at minimum a single Axure prototype (or similar) that showcases an administrator dashboard-type interface outlined below. Additional prototype states and functionalities are beneficial but not required. Candidate also may provide written documentation of their thought process and functionality summary. YouA cents € (TM) ve been hired by the board of education to design an innovative desktop (non-mobile) application that would be utilized by the administrators of each high school within the county. This application will allow easy organization, tracking and analytics of student body and schoolA cents € (TM) s resources. This application will have the following functionalities: Have one, easily navigable and intuitively structured administration panel. Have a drag-and-drop component for management and categorization of students and instructors (example: assign students to instructors and vice versa). Show statistics for the school year YTD of overall performance and be able to drill down to an individual student. Be able to organize instructors, assign different subjects that they teach, and monitor their teaching performance via student progress. Be able to organize students by grade level - 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th. Be able to further organize students by type - regular, gifted, honors, and AP (advanced placement). You donA cents € (TM) t have to show full scope of functionality for each of the above objectives, but you have to create an interface that will be able to successfully and intuitively serve as a springboard to all of these journeys. Tips to get started: Prioritize functionalities that you determine to be main core features of the application and cascade secondary-level support features by integrating them as extensions and/or add-ons to the main feature palette.
