RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a SharePoint Administrator.Summary:The SharePoint Content Administrator manages all aspects of the Content and Collaboration for an Enterprise SharePoint environment. This includes governance, security, integration, and adoption. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization.Duties Include:* Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives (Upgraded Versions, Third-Party Solutions, and Integration with additional Enterprise Systems)* Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists and site collections; perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution* Work with IT Project Managers and Business Analysts to design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities, and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution* Work with PMO resources to identify documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test and implementation plans for small to complex projects* Provide business users support and best practices that will enable them fully utilize the potential of SharePoint 2013; the SharePoint Administrator will be a SharePoint 2013 Super user and assist in developing a strategy for IT and other Business areas that use SharePoint for collaboration* Support an enterprise SharePoint 2010/2013 environment serving IT and business users for collaboration and intranet use with access, build-out, and expansion of SharePoint functionality* Respond in a timely manner to support tickets related to issues, performance, patching, and other SharePoint environment* Provide training to Site Managers and others on the basics of SharePoint 2013 functionalityREQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration* In lieu of specified degree, equivalent work experience may be considered* 4 - 7 years of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 experience; experience with SharePoint 2010/2013 administration including, but not limited to Central Admin, Web Front Ends (WFE), service and web applications, site collection creation, document libraries, and backup/restore of content databases* Solid understanding of Microsoft SharePoint-related technologies including, but not limited Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Enterprise, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Workflows, and Web Parts* Experience with SharePoint development and maintenance, system deployment, and administration of a SharePoint portal* Strong background in Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos and other network and authentication technologies* Basic experience with LANDesk service management* Some experience with installing/configuring SharePoint server farm; applying patches, service packs and infrastructure updatesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
