Organizes office operations. Performs administrative support work requiring application of varied work methods and procedures. Inputs data and coordinates the maintenance work order system, coordinates daily work orders and preventive maintenance issues. Responsible for the departments postal duties. Maintains the departmental logs, reports, inspections and record keeping and organizes office operations and procedures for an efficient workflow. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. College level courses preferable. Three (3) years experience in a progressive administrative support capacity. Candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to prioritize work assignments. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must have experience in leading or supervising a staff. Above average ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department. Experience: Keeps minutes of staff and committee meetings. Transcribes minutes and forwards to committee members. Maintains employees sick and vacations records for assigned personnel. Performs administrative/support duties such as composing correspondence requiring some understanding of technical matters. Responsible for departments mail, messages. Responsible for keeping calendars and scheduling appointments. Operates a computer system with a printer, copier, fax machine and other office machines. Maintains the admin support copy center by requesting supplies and storing them Maintains the work order and preventative maintenance records and filing systems and programs Other duties as assigned.
