High traffic, demanding Doctors office is seeking a decisive, confident, high energy, extroverted receptionist. You must be comfortable with a fast pace and not get your feelings hurt easily. This critical position requires someone who can be interrupted frequently, maintain an exceptional attitude, joyfully serve others and shares our belief that people come first! Position is based in Royal Palm Beach, FL and the pay range is $13 - $16 per hour (depending on talent and experience). Primary duties include but are not limited to: Answer phone lines and check voicemails Scheduling and rescheduling current and new patient appointmentsCollecting payments/managing charges for check out Daily and weekly statisticsDeveloping X-rays Insurance verifications Medical records to attorneys Imaging and orthopedic referralsCollect and sort mail Building patient charts Scanning documents into EMR systemMail new patient welcome packet to all patients Copying and maintaining medical forms Ordering office supplies Inventory management Bill payment for business expenses and expense reports Responsibilities: Answering multiple phone calls in a professional and friendly matter while also interacting face to face with patients New patient and existing patient, calls, recalls and appointment reminders Managing excel trackers Familiar with google drive and app functions Sending, receiving, tracking records, faxes and medical/ imaging referrals. Qualifications: Administrative experience (does not need to be in medical) College experience/degree preferred Time management and prioritizing Detail oriented/expert in organization - the ability to use systems or processes to prevent things from falling through fall the cracks Ability to think strategically Works well independently and as a team player Teachable with a pleasant demeanor and attitude Not intimidated by a large case load and ability to work under stress of deadlines Self motivated and confident About Company: The mission of South Florida Physical Medicine & Pivotal Physical Medicine is to develop a performance driven culture that adds, discovers, develops and provides cutting edge treatments.
