Job Description The company is a property management company specializing in shopping centers and multi-family properties. Candidate should have experience with the following: 1) Financial preparation 2) Journal Entries 3) Accounts Payable 4) Accounts Receivable 5) Bank reconciliations *Assist in preparing monthly Financial Statements -- analyze budget -- vs -- actual expenses, and the ability to analyze the General Ledger. *Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries. *Prepare and analyze regular monthly receivable and payable reports *Familiar with monthly closing procedures in both AR and AP *Manage Bank Reconciliations for multiple accounts *Participate in business relationships with banks *Prepare 1099's at end of year. *Assist in providing accounting records to CPA's at the year-end for audit purposes. *General organizational office duties Requirements: - Candidates must have 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience - Experience with Skyline Software a plus - Strong organizational skills & math skills - Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel - Great attention to detail - Ability to adjust to multiple demands and change work priorities - Self-motivated and problem solving skills a plus - Good time management and ability to prioritize
