Randstad Professionals has a client with an immediate need for a Data Analytics Internal Auditor that will be responsible for performing big data analysis for the Internal Department. The Internal Audit Data Analytics professional will be responsible for data analytics, data mining, audit strategies and tactics to support the internal audit team. The Internal Audit Data Analytics professional will be accountable to the internal audit and compliance team to meet all organizational and professional ethical standards. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop and leverage expertise with in the areas of data analysis/data management and knowledge of big data environmentDemonstrated ability to access and analyze data with business intelligence toolsProvide both advisory and execution support in audits by identifying, developing, documenting, or executing audit analytics during all relevant stages of an audit.Perform data mining and analysis to facilitate the identification and communication of outliers and trends in the business.Design and execute standalone Data Analytics audit projects to support department objectives, obtain necessary data for audits.Identify, develop and maintain continuous auditing/monitoring activities and provide additional support on audits or other initiatives when necessary.Lead department initiatives to review and improve department processes, tools and methodologies related to the use of Data Analytics.Develop and implement training that is related to data analytics and data analytics programs.Provide training on professional standards, best practices, tools and strategies for personal and department successLearn and apply technical knowledge gained through professional development opportunitiesBuild and apply business knowledge to complement technical expertise in design and performance of analytical procedures.Extract, define and analyze complex data, and draw relevant conclusions in support of audit objectives.Qualifications Experience BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or related field)One or more related professional certifications in accounting or auditing (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.).Experience applying fraud discovery techniques during design and execution of data analytics.3-years plus knowledge and experience with data access, analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Access, MS-SQL, PLSQL Developer and Tableau.Advanced application of data analytics techniques and tools in a complex business environment, including the application of general statistical concepts against large volumes of data.Experience with manufacturing environment or similar industryClear and concise communication skills
