We are looking for a Fixed Income Credit Analyst in our Palm Beach Garden, Florida office. Under the supervision of the Chief Investment Officer, the analyst will conduct research and recommend various fixed income investment vehicles, mostly domestic investment grade corporate bonds and preferred stocks for investments.

Main Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Provide hedging and other risk management recommendations. Monitor portfolio risks on all aspects.
Author credit analysis reports to discuss the investment merits of domestic, and to a lessor extend international taxable credits.
Perform financial and credit modeling and monitoring for various company credits.
Develop and maintain industry analysis for specific sectors and credit reviews for investment commitment meetings.
Generate analytics for fixed income portfolios including duration, credit ratings, sector distribution and others.
Develop marketing materials and participate in the presentation for investor meetings, conference calls or conferences.
Initiate, monitor succesffully execute and settle primarily fixed income trades in conjunction with outside brokers and custodians.
Provide hedging and other risk management recommendations. Monitor portfolio risks on all aspects.
Collaborate with equity investment side and operations team on various tasks.
Support reporting or data needs on client specific requests.
Travel is required for investor meetings and may occupy 20% of the working time for this position.
Other duties assigned by the Company from time to time. This position reports to the Chief Investment Officer.

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 4-9 years experience in financial analysis, ideally fixed income and credit analysis or trading, or equivalent education and experience.
Understand credit ratings and credit agency rating process.
Expert Excel knowledge and writing skills required. Ability to develop and refine complex financial models, analytical processes and methodologies.
Strong analytic and quantitive skills and familiar with financial analysis tools.
Strong communications skills and detailed oriented.
Team player with the ability to collaborate with other team members in an interactive working
Self-starter with motivated, ability to work independently while fully functioning with a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge or previous exposure to trading and/or trading systems.
MBA Degree in Finance or related field and Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
