The Accounting Clerk is an entry level part time position where the associate will have the opportunity to learn multiple areas of accounting for growth and development opportunities. Candidate should have strong administrative skills and must be comfortable using computer based programs which include Excel.Job duties will include but not limited to Matching Invoices to receiving documentsChecks for compliance with purchasing proceduresResearches vendor statementsReconciliation of purchase receiptsData entryMaintain and update GSE dataPreforms filing and copyingOther administrative tasks as required.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredExperienced at setting up and utilizing excel spreadsheetsProven work experience in accountingGood computer skills including strong working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and ExcelStrong oral and written communication skillsMust have excellent attention to detailAble to handle multiple tasks and seek assistance from fellow team members when necessaryCarry out all reasonable requests by accounting teamPass a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 10:year background check and pre:employment drug testPass a Department of Homeland Security/Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security assessmentLegally eligible to work in the United States The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
